The daughter of pro-Putin figure Tina Kandelaki vacations in Europe while her family accumulates elite assets from propaganda income
26-year-old Melania Borodina (née Kondrakhina) is the daughter of Russian propagandist Tina Kandelaki. Unlike her mother, she is not under EU sanctions and freely travels across Europe.
While Russia’s war against Ukraine continues — a war publicly supported by her mother — Melania spends time abroad. In particular, in 2025 she stayed in Italy for an extended period, posting photos from there on her Instagram.
In Russia, significant assets are registered in Borodina’s name — including a 734-square-meter mansion on Rublyovka with a 20-are land plot. The estimated value of this property is around 300 million rubles.
Tina Kandelaki herself owns a 313-square-meter apartment in the Patriarch’s Ponds area in Moscow (residential complex “Malaya Bronnaya, 27/14”), valued at approximately 250 million rubles. According to available data, her annual income is about 200 million rubles — funds she receives from Gazprom-Media Holding, where she serves as Deputy CEO responsible for entertainment TV channels.
Her husband, Vasily Brovko, works as a director for special assignments at the state corporation Rostec, although his income is significantly lower.
A 342-square-meter penthouse in the “Krylatskaya Panorama” residential complex is registered to her 24-year-old son, Leontiy Kandelaki. He also works at the TNT TV channel, where he hosts a morning news show together with his mother.
