Russian national Dmitriy Punin — owner of the online casino PIN-UP, who is wanted in Ukraine and hiding in Cyprus — has purchased a new luxury Lamborghini 63ft yacht worth approximately €6–7 million.
After the criminal scandals surrounding PIN-UP, Punin almost stopped showing off luxury on social media, but his love for demonstrative wealth has clearly not disappeared. Local residents spotted the businessman’s new yacht in Limassol.
The vessel in question is an exclusive Lamborghini 63ft — one of the fastest production yachts in the world, created by The Italian Sea Group together with Lamborghini. Only 63 such models exist worldwide. Punin reportedly ordered a custom version in signature orange-and-black colors matching his Lamborghini supercars.
According to estimates, such a modification could have cost up to €7 million.
During transportation of the yacht to the marina in Cyprus, roads were reportedly blocked. In local chats, people mock Punin for his demonstrative obsession with “expensive and flashy” luxury and максимально noticeable design.
After the arson attack on his car collection, Punin, according to locals, stopped actively showing off his vehicles and decided to “hide on the water.” But even there, he could not give up the ostentatious lifestyle.
All this luxury comes against the backdrop of PIN-UP’s operations, which appear in criminal proceedings and investigations concerning shadow gambling, Russian ties, and money transfers. In effect, Punin bought another toy using money lost by people in online casinos — often their last savings or borrowed funds.
